Welcome, we aim to provide a centralized access point to a wide variety of equipment and services offered by the component laboratories of the University of Nottingham Post-Genomic technologies cluster, covering microarray techniques and transcriptomics, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics and a host of associated technology platforms
Rat whole genome slides Available
We have a batch of 12 unused Rat whole genome arrays for sale, or for us to hybridize for you. These are commercial arrays printed on codelink surfaces. Each has ~34,000 spots on, including controls etc. Useful for single or dual colour hybridization for transcriptome analysis.
Dual colour luciferase analysis is now available on the BMG Labtech Fluorstar Optima Plate reader Bookings can be made via the genomics booking system.
Genomics website reaches 3,000,000 hits per year
The genomics website has now reached a new record of over 3 million hits in a year, that's averaging approximately 250,000 per month. Access to this site had been steadily climbing since it's launch, approximately 80% of hits are from the UK
It's in place: a BMG Labtech Fluorstar Optima Plate reader with Luminescence, absorbance and standard and time-resolved fluorescence capabilities. Bookings can be made via the genomics booking system. Use for fluorescence is currently awaiting some additional filters
Available for use now! The Eppendorf Epmotion 5075 robot is highly capable and flexible machine suitable for a range of applications including Plasmid prep and sequence setup etc.
